Welcome!  Thank you for checking out the website for Wesley United Methodist Church of Johns Island.  It is a privilege to greet you on behalf of the Wesley church family, and in the name of Jesus the Christ!

Wesley is a welcoming community of faith that desires to meet each of our brothers and sisters in Christ where they are and journey together as we continue to build the Kingdom of God.  Wesley strives to provide a menu of ministries that feed the multitude from the youngest to the oldest, regardless of gender, race, color or culture; and to wet the appetite of those that do not have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ!

Our mission as a United Methodist Church is to make Disciples of Christ by being an open hearts, open minds, and open doors church.  My motto is that it won’t be hard for us to fulfill our mission, because everyone created by God has the “GP” Trademark. (We are “God’s People, Great People with Great Potential, and God’s Power!”)  We are all “GP” builders!  We have been awarded the contract signed in blood by a resurrected Jesus to be God’s Kingdom builders, what an honor!  We already have the tools, our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service.  We strive to not leave home without even one of these tools, for fear the quality of our work will be poor.  We have great pay, which is daily breath!  We have more than one incentive, God’s love, mercy, forgiveness, and many blessings!  We are given a free meal card, and the food is so filling; it’s called the Word!
